Is It Happy Hour Yet?

happy_hour

I have to admit, when I travel, I like to find that relaxing, pre-dinner spot to have a glass of wine or a cocktail, whether I am with friends, or going solo.  I even have the Happy Hour App on my phone (Yes, I have the app! Love it!).  It is with that I thought I will compile a list of 3 Happy Hour spots to checkout while traveling:

Sugar Factory,  Las Vegas, Nevada

sugarfactory

Need to stop for a drink while you are walking down the Las Vegas Strip? This place has the most amazing, signature, goblet cocktails. If you are a candy lover, you will love these drinks full of their famous candy! From their Lollipop Passion to their White Gummi cocktails, I promise you have never experienced drinks like this. Best of all, during Happy Hour, between 4:00-7:00 pm daily, you get 2 for the price of 1! I don’t know if I would recommend drinking 2 of the goblets, but it is a nice deal to share with a friend…or because you are in Las Vegas you can take what you do not drink with you. Gotta love Las Vegas!  (Disclaimer: All diets are off limits when visiting Sugar Factory!)

Rick’s Café,  Negril, Jamaica

There is just so much to say about this place, I do not know where to start. First of all, Rick’s Café sits on the oceanfront of beautiful Negril, Jamaica! That should be enough to make you want to go right there! Oh, but there’s more! You have great drinks, one of the best views of the sunset in the world, the famous West End Cliffs, and the breeding ground for tourists and celebrities, all in one place. At Rick’s Café, you can enjoy their famous Tropitinis, their signature Category 5 Hurricane, or have a Red Strip Beer. They also have a Happy Hour party from 4:00-8:00pm daily. So if you love people, drinks, and fun…check out the Rick’s Café.

Katra Lounge,  New York City, NY

katralounge

If being more low-key is your kind of speed, Katra Lounge in the Lower East Side of New York City may be the place for you. It is a beautiful wind-down after work spot with Mediterranean and Moroccan influence. Come here to enjoy a glass of wine or their famous Nuvo signature drinks. Their happy hour is one of the best in New York City with their 2 for 1 top shelf cocktails and wine and beer specials on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Now it is your turn! What are your favorite Happy Hours, bars, or cocktail spots to visit while traveling? I look forward to hearing them so I can visit! Happy Travels!
