Seefeld, Austria

Travelista Andrea in Seefeld Austria

Seefeld, Austria is a small mountain town nestled on a plateau high above valleys and rugged peaks. Like other alpine resort towns in Austria, Seefeld offers travelers a range of lodging options, catering to wellness, families, and adventure. In the winter months, the high plateau, protected by various mountain chains, guarantees snow from December to the end of March. Sport enthusiasts agree that this is the cross-country skiing paradise in the Alps with more than 160 miles of trails. In the warmer months, Seefeld offers hiking, biking, and golf.

On my summer trip through Austria, I traveled to Vienna and Salzburg, ending with a final stop in Seefeld – a town renowned for its wellness and massage therapy treatments.

The resorts here pride themselves on their four-to-five star appeal, providing varying amenities and services for their clientele. I stayed at Family & Spa Resort Alpenpark, owned by the Kaltschmid Family. This four star superior hotel prides itself on its spacious lodge rooms, hospitality, wellness services, and family-friendly amenities. The cuisine features a wide range of offerings including regional, international and healthy eating menus, breakfast buffets, and fresh dishes from their open kitchen. Not to mention an immense wine cellar with more than 150 different wines from all over the world.

For adults, Alpenpark offers pleasure and relaxation. The hotel has an adult spa, water beds, 4 senses lounger, and outdoor natural brine pools. The Beauty and Health Oasis with massages, beauty treatments, Ayurveda, and a hair salon. Rooms are decorated in a traditional elegant country house style that evokes the spirit of the mountainside, many come with balconies.
