Soul in Aruba

The Dutch island of Aruba has long been a popular tourist destination among Americans and for a good reason.  Aruba is wildly romantic, has turquoise blue water, possesses an incredibly unique landscape, and best of all, it’s easy breezy.

For the 13th consecutive year, Aruba is home to the Soul Beach Music Festival that takes place from May 22th until May 27th.  This year’s lineup includes NEYO (headliner), Tamia, D’Angelo, Sinbad, Damon Williams, and Elle Varner.

Where to stay: Stay at the Aruba Marriott and check out the Adults only H20 Oasis pool

How to get there: All of the major airlines fly there.  We prefer Jet Blue.

What else to do: Try stand-up paddle boarding.  You can rent from Vela located in front of the Aruba Marriott.   You can also explore the arid landscape and the divi-divi trees in Arikok National Park or go horseback riding on the beach at sunset.
